In Windows 11, Restore the Familiar Hierarchical File Structure in Windows Explorer?

Having recently changed from Windows 10 to Windows 11 (25H2), I hate the way Windows Explorer handles the hierarchical file listings! First, there is no hierarchical (tree-like) listing. Second, as you drill down from level to level in the file structure, the sub-folders available aren't even listed in alphabetical order.

Please is there some way to return Explorer to the original display as Microsoft has used for decades?

Hi,

In Windows 11, the only way to restore the traditional tree style view in File Explorer is to enable Show all folders. To do this, right click an empty area in the navigation pane on the left, then select Show all folders. This will also display your subfolders in alphabetical order within the navigation pane.
