A Microsoft file hosting and synchronization service.
(1) You do not have to uninstall the Microsoft 365 trial before setting up your subscription. The simplest approach is to sign in to the new PC with the same Microsoft account that owns your existing Microsoft 365 Personal subscription and then open an Office application such as Word. It should recognize your subscription and activate Office. If the trial causes an activation problem, you can uninstall Office and reinstall it from your Microsoft account. Microsoft 365 Personal allows you to use the apps on up to five devices simultaneously, so replacing your current computer with the new one is well within the limit.
(2) Yep - use your existing Microsoft account and credentials. Your Microsoft 365 subscription belongs to that Microsoft account - it is not tied to your current computer. When you sign into the new PC and Office with that account, Microsoft recognizes the new computer as another device and associates your subscription with it. You do not need to create a new Microsoft account for the new computer.
(3) OneDrive is separate from the Office trial, and uninstalling Microsoft 365/Office does not delete your OneDrive files. OneDrive is integrated into Windows 11, so on the new PC sign into the OneDrive app using the same Microsoft account. Your cloud-stored OneDrive files will then appear in File Explorer and synchronize to the new computer. Files may initially be online-only rather than physically downloaded; if you want everything stored locally, right-click the desired OneDrive files/folders and select Always keep on this device. You do not need to manually copy or download the files from the old PC.
(4) Before retiring the old computer is to verify that OneDrive has completely finished synchronizing. You can also sign into OneDrive on the web and verify that your important Documents, photographs, videos, and other files are actually there. Then set up the new PC, sign into Windows/OneDrive/Office with the same Microsoft account, and allow synchronization to complete. Do not erase or dispose of the old computer until you have confirmed that your important data is accessible on the new one.
