I have tried several ways to save cropping in Microsoft designer. Apparently this is a common glitch in the system. Will this be fixed?

Hello LuAnn Reinders

I understand how frustrating it is when the crop appears correct, but the saved image reverts to the original.

As a workaround, please open the image in the Microsoft Photos app, select Edit image > Crop, and then save it as a copy. You can also use Paint if Photos produces the same result.

Also, I suggest you report the issue on Microsoft Designer, then select Send feedback. Including the Designer version and a short screen recording if possible. This will send the details to the product team for investigation.

I hope the workaround helps in the meantime.

Feel free reply back to this post if you need further assistance, I'll be happy to help.

This worked! I'm on my way with my project. (But Microsoft still needs to fix the cropping within the Microsoft designer.)

The solution: As a workaround, please open the image in the Microsoft Photos app, select Edit image > Crop, and then save it as a copy. You can also use Paint if Photos produces the same result.
