Microsoft designer is not saving cropping

I have tried several ways to save cropping in Microsoft designer. Apparently this is a common glitch in the system. Will this be fixed?

I understand how frustrating it is when the crop appears correct, but the saved image reverts to the original.

As a workaround, please open the image in the Microsoft Photos app, select Edit image > Crop, and then save it as a copy. You can also use Paint if Photos produces the same result.

Also, I suggest you report the issue on Microsoft Designer, then select Send feedback. Including the Designer version and a short screen recording if possible. This will send the details to the product team for investigation.

This worked! I'm on my way with my project. (But Microsoft still needs to fix the cropping within the Microsoft designer.)

Neither of those apps work. Photos brings the picture up in extreme miniature and Paint brings it up so large it is off the screen. I will try sending feedback but how do I know what version my Designer is?

I’m sorry those alternatives did not work properly either.

If you are using Microsoft Designer at designer.microsoft.com, you may not see a traditional app version number because it runs as a web app and is updated online. When submitting feedback, you can state that you are using the Microsoft Designer web app, and include:

Your browser and its version

Your Windows or macOS version

A brief description of the cropping and saving steps

A screenshot showing the problem, if possible

In Designer, select Send feedback and explain that the crop appears correct while editing but is not retained when the image is saved or downloaded. This information should help the product team investigate the issue.
