Dear @sara abb ,

Good day! Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A forum!

Based on your description, I understand that Microsoft has requested additional information to verify ownership of your account after suspicious sign-in activity while you were traveling. You have already provided the requested information but are still unable to regain access.

For account security, Microsoft Q&A cannot manually verify ownership or bypass the account recovery process. The recommended approach is to continue using the Microsoft account recovery form and provide as much accurate information as possible. If the phone verification option is not working, please make sure you select any available alternative verification method.

If the recovery request is unsuccessful, you can submit another request with additional information that may help verify ownership, such as previous passwords, frequently contacted email addresses, and details from recent messages.

Please do not post your password, recovery codes, phone numbers, or other sensitive account information publicly on the forum.

I hope this helps. Please let us know if you receive a specific error during the recovery process, and we can help with the next steps. Thanks

Hello sara abb

I understand how urgent this is when your email is connected to so many important services.

Since you have already completed the account recovery form and are not receiving the verification code, you may speak to a real person by contacting Microsoft Support for more insight:

Please note that this is a user-to-user support forum. Moderators and contributors, including external Microsoft employees, are not allowed to directly interfere with Microsoft product features or access back-end systems. Our role is limited solely to providing technical guidance on reported incidents, requests, or ideas.

  1. Open a website link - Contact - Microsoft Support
  2. In the box below "We're here to help", type Microsoft 365, click "Get Help", and then click "Contact Support" below.
  3. In this section, you will need to sign in to your Microsoft account.
  4. Select "Microsoft 365 and Office" under Products & Services, select "Technical Support" as the category, and click to confirm
  5. You can select " Chat with a support agent in your web browser " to access the chat window.

However, please be aware that even support agents cannot bypass the account verification process, send password-reset links, or manually change account security details.

I hope support can help you regain access soon.

Have a nice day
