Disassociate Personal Email from Former Organization's Azure Tenant

I am unable to access the Azure portal using my personal email address because it is still associated with a former organization's Azure tenant. When I log in, I receive a message stating that I do not have access to the old company's resources.

This is my personal email, and I would like to disassociate it from the previous organization's Azure tenant so I can use it as a regular personal account without restrictions.

Please assist in resolving this issue.

Thank you.

Hi @Shota Akhalaia

Thank You for contacting Microsoft QnA.

Follow the steps I've included below to leave an organization.

Navigate to My Account (Microsoft Entra ID):

  • Go to My Account.
  • Log in with your personal email.

Note: If you're using a personal account or email one-time passcode, you'll need to use a My Account URL that includes your tenant name or tenant ID. For example: https://myaccount.microsoft.com?tenantId=contoso.onmicrosoft.com or https://myaccount.microsoft.com?tenantId=aaaabbbb-0000-cccc-1111-dddd2222eeee

You should open this URL in a private browser session.

Access Organizations You’re Connected To:

  • Under Organizations, check if the previous organization is listed.
  • Select the organization and choose Leave Organization.
  • Confirm the action.
