How do I set up an email notification that I have a late task? I don't want my e-mail to receive information in my absence on Teams that, for example, someone has sent a message.

@Alicja Marjak

It sounds like you’re getting email notifications from Microsoft Teams while you’re away and would prefer not to. You can adjust your Teams notification settings to stop these emails. Here’s how to do it:

 1. Open Microsoft Teams on your computer.
  1. Click your profile picture in the top right corner, then select Settings.
  2. Go to the Notifications section.
  3. Look for the “Missed activity emails” setting. (Depending on your version of Teams, this option might also be labeled “Email notifications” or something similar.)
  4. Change the setting from its current value (such as “As soon as possible” or “Every 10 minutes”) to “Off.”

Once you’ve updated this setting, Teams should no longer send email notifications about missed activities when you’re not actively using the app.

If for some reason you continue receiving emails or if you have additional email notifications set up (for example, via Outlook rules or additional connected services), you might also want to check those settings.
