Hello,

I am trying to activate the Azure for Students offer using my GitHub Student Developer Pack. My GitHub account is fully verified (it shows the “Pro” tag), and I’ve linked my student Gmail address to my Microsoft account as an alias. I accessed the offer through education.github.com/pack/redeem/microsoft-azure-student, signed in with GitHub, and then with my Microsoft account as prompted. However, I’m consistently redirected to a page that says, “Your email domain is not currently registered with us,” with no option to upload documentation or use alternative verification methods, even though GitHub has already confirmed my student status.

I’ve tried clearing browser cache, using incognito mode, switching browsers, and repeating the activation flow—none of which resolved the issue. I’d appreciate it if you could help activate the Azure for Students subscription for my Microsoft account or let me know how I can manually submit my student ID or enrollment document for verification.

Thank you!

Hi SUDHARSAN P S
you're experiencing an issue with activating the Azure for Students offer because your email domain isn't being recognized. This can occur if your school’s domain is not registered or officially recognized by Microsoft for the Azure for Students program.

To resolve this, we recommend contacting Microsoft Support through the Azure portal.

please follow these step by step to create a support request:

Go to the Azure Portal, click on Help + Support, and then select Create a support request.

  1. In the Support + Troubleshooting pane on the right, type "subscription management" in the search box, select subscription management, and then click Next.
