Managing bookmarks, browsing history, and downloads in Edge on Windows 11
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
I tried clean installing 23H2 and 24H2 respectively, but the same issue persists on Microsoft Edge: When clearing browsing data, all buttons there save for the check boxes don't work. Typically when you clear browsing data the window disappears once the operation is done, but there I have to literally close and reopen the tab to see it work.
Is this a version issue? Even the Beta Channel Edge is having the same problem. I don't know what to do at this point. ;>
TL;DR: Whenever I try to clear browsing history, the window doesn't disappear. Buttons are clickable but I have to close the tab and open it again to see that it's cleared. It's quite a nuisance at this point.

It's great that you were able point out what the problem is. I highly suggest that you put this detail when you submit a bug report. It will definitely help the devs.
Hi Kagano, I am Paulo and I'd like to help.
This is indeed a bug as several other users have been experiencing the same issue. Here are the other threads posted recently

As of now, the best course of action is to report this to the developers by pressing Alt+Shift+i so they can investigate and create a fix. It will be best if you can include a recording and logs when you submit it as it is crucial in finding the cause of the issue.
Additionally, could you verify if the same issue occurs by creating a new Edge profile?
Ho risolto reinstallando Edge , qualcosa è andato storto nell'ultimo aggiornamento . Grazie
Thank you for the reassurance! I thought clean installing my windows broke something.
I'll send a detailed report to them to have this checked.
This issue is also happening in the Edge Insider builds. Might also point it out.
Hello!
I'm running 131.0.2903.51
Yes! Every thread you shared to me all have the same issue. "Clear", "Cancel" and even the "X" button on the top right is not working.
Anecdotally, I would like to point out that the problem disappears when the Browser history box is unticked — ticking back the Browser checkbox returns the problem
So I guess the problem is specifically clearing the browser history.
