If the on-screen keyboard is working correctly, and if you connect another external keyboard to your laptop and the keys are also working on that keyboard, that indicates a hardware error on your keyboard and it will need to be replaced.
Some Keys on Keyboard Not Working
I am using a Dell Precision 5520, and a few of the laptop's keys are not working. Specifically the following:
T, Y, Backspace, Tab, Left Shift, and Backspace
All the other keys work fine without issue. I have looked over he internet and have done the following.
Restarted computer
Uninstalled/Reinstalled all keboard drivers
Cleaned keys
There seems o be only one other person with this exact issue on microsof community. It is very frustrating.
Thank You

Keboard troubleshooter found no issue wih it. On-screen keyboard works fine. All supposedly broken keys have input when using it.
Thanks for the help,
Nathan

1
Open Command Prompt, then run this command and press Enter:
msdt.exe -id KeyboardDiagnostic
Run that Keyboard Troubleshooter to see if that can solve the problem.
2
If the problem is still not resolved:
Bring up the on-screen keyboard, are those keys working correctly on that keyboard?
Connect another external keyboard to your system, are those keys working correctly on that keyboard?
