Boot Menu Detection Error HDD0

Dear Community,

I am facing this problem with booting my laptop. First it shows the detection error then it goes to theboot menu options where I can use diagnostics which I used already but nothing changed. When I try to escape the screen it goes black and after a while it comes back to the boot menu. This loop keeps repeating indefinitely without ever starting up. Please suggest any fix to get to my usual desktop screen.

Thanks & Regards

Siddhartha Sharma

In that case, that drive has most likely failed and needs to be replaced.

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

That error indicates most likely there may be a hardware fault on your internal drive, your BIOS cannot find the drive.

This was a BIOS fault that used to appear on older laptops, can you remove the battery from your laptop?

If you can, try these steps.

Remove the battery from your laptop.

Disconnect the laptop from mains electricity.

Press and hold the power button on the case of your laptop for 30 seconds.

    Re-insert the battery.

Reconnect the power cable and start your PC, does it boot into Windows?

No spinning dots just stuck on this screen now after doing what you told me to do. It has been 4 days since this is happening.

How long have you been stuck on that screen and is there any spinning dots to indicate Windows is trying to boot up?
