Can I change my login.microsoft.com passkey in Windows 11?

I tried to delete the passkey for login.microsoft.com, and received this message:

This passkey can't be deleted because it's required to sign in to this device.

What I actually want to change is the passkey for outlook, but it seems to be the same passkey as login.microsoft.com.

Passkey itself is stored in TPM. You can't edit passkeys. Add or delete.

I understand that the providers are the same, so the passkeys are necessarily the same; i.e., a particular user can have only one passkey for a particular provider. Thank you.

Hi, thanks for reaching out! My name is Jiyas. I'll be glad to help you today.

Unfortunately. Some passkeys for login.microsoft.com can't be deleted, as they're used with your Microsoft Account to sign in to the device and Microsoft services.

Passkey is for device to access specific service. Your device has one passkey for Microsoft services because they all use the same auth provider (login.microsoft.com). That's why you can't create separate passkey for specific app (outlook).
