Left control doesn't work unless pressed multiple times

Around few months now, my left ctrl key doesn't work unless I pressed on it multiple time. For example, if I want to copy sth, I need to select the texts and spam the ctrl button for 3-4 times before the command ctrl+C would work. If I switch to a new tab that I haven't spammed yet, left ctrl won't work and I have to spam again. This also occurs for switching windows on my laptop.

I have looked into sticky keys even tho I don't think that's the problem, and it wasn't! I search everywhere and all I get is "check sticky keys" or "it's dirt or debris". Nope. No sticky keys, no debris. I love my laptop and also never put a heavy thing on it. Help is greatly appreciated!

This is usually a hardware issue with the keyboard. Underneath the keyboard, there is a circuit board with numerous signal tracks. Cracks in the tracks, dust or debris buildup, or corrosion can disrupt the signal flow. Since spamming seems to help, it is likely crack.

To diagnose a keyboard problem, it's essential to test with the onscreen keyboard or a different keyboard via USB or Bluetooth. If the alternative keyboard works, it's certain that the issue is hardware-related.

Thank you!!! Because you mentioned crack underneath, I tried to remove the key's surface. I heard a crack when I was trying, so I stopped. Somehow, I think that fixed the problem, which convinces me that I probably use the button so much, causing problem on the hardware
