Incorrect Function When opening image files

Error message:

C:\User\Downloads\1.png

incorrect funtion.

all photos i have, even the old one are not opening since i deleted some temporary file. videos and other file are working, but not png, jpeg files.

" open with > photos " is not also working
but " open with > paint " working

How can i fix this please help

Hello,

I see. Maybe then the Photos App itself is the issue.

Could you go to Settings > Apps > Installed Apps > Photos, 3 dots, > Advanced options > Try the options there to Repair, Reset.

And then, just try to search the Photos app itself and see if it opens from the Start Menu.

If you cannot find it, go to the Microsoft Store Search Microsoft Photos, and check if you can install it from there.

    What is this picture you have issues with it? Where did you download it from and how?

    The issue is not very clear so please go into detail.

    Meanwhile, can you try:

    Right-click the file, select Open with, and choose the appropriate app (e.g., Photos).
