Windows says my password is incorrect when it's not.

Hello

I am trying to access Word through my microsoft account on my brother's pc, but when I go through the log-in process, I reach the step where I have to type in my "microsoft hello" password and it tells me it's incorrect. It is 100% the correct password!

I've tried changing this password on my own laptop but that didn't help. Why is this happening and how can I fix it?

Hello, this is Emily.

You said Microsoft Hello?? That's PIN, not Password. Can you please double check that step. PIN is local to the computer, not related to your Microsoft account. Ask your brother for the PIN in that case.
