windows 10 // When trying to open images or videos it shows "incorrect function"

Two days ago, I did a deep clean of my computer and might have accidentally deleted an important file. The next day, I noticed that whenever I click on any video or image—regardless of the file type—I get an error message that shows the file path followed by 'Incorrect function.' I'm not sure how to resolve this. My friend suggested I run 'sfc /scannow,' which did fix some corrupted files, but unfortunately, it didn’t resolve this specific issue.

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

Open the Settings App, then go to Apps and Features.

Scroll down to find the Microsoft Photos ap, select it and choose 'Advanced Options', then run the Repair option and the Reset option, can you then open image files?
