I accidentally pressed some kind of hot key and now computer is working strangely

I have pressed a hot key that I don't know while playing and now my computer works completely different:

Caps lock is inverted

If I press lmb on the opened file on taskbar, it just opens new file

I can't scroll in browser using scroll button on mouse

Some hot keys are not working (for ex. Ctrl c, Ctrl v)

On desktop when I'm pressing lmb on any file, it selected all files from random file, to the file which I pressed on

How do I fix it?

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

Open the old Control Panel, then set View at the top to large icons.

Open the Ease of Access Center applet.

Click 'Make the mouse easier to use'.

Under 'Control the mouse with the keyboard', is the Mouse Keys setting enabled?

If it is, disable that to see if that resolves the problem.

It seems like a hotkey was accidentally triggered. Please try the following steps to resolve the issues:

Caps Lock Inversion:
This is often caused by Sticky Keys.
- Press Shift five times to disable it, or go to Settings > Ease of Access > Keyboard and turn off Sticky Keys and Filter Keys.
Taskbar Clicking Opens New Window:
- Right-click the taskbar, select Taskbar settings, and set Combine taskbar buttons to Never.
Mouse Scroll Not Working:
- Check if Scroll Lock is on. If you use mouse software (e.g., Logitech, Razer), ensure it’s not overriding the scroll function.
- Reset your browser settings if the issue is browser-specific.
Keyboard Shortcuts Not Working:
- Confirm Sticky Keys is disabled.
- A restart may also help reset any temporary conflicts.
Selecting Multiple Files:
- Go to Control Panel > Mouse and turn off ClickLock.
