I've never had any issues with my drivers until I installed and launched Marvel Rivals only to get the error message:
"DirectX 12 is not supported on your system. Try running without the -dx12 or -d3d12 command line argument."
I searched for about 5 hours for any solution, and this is my first time checking like anything with my computer so please bare with me, sorry!
I have an HP Zbook 15 G3 with two GPUs:
- an Intel(R) HD Graphics530
- an NVIDIA Quadro M1000M
I ran a dxdiag to check if my system supports DirectX12, which it says it does have it. However, after more searching it seems that Marvel Rivals actually needs Directx12 Ultimate in order to run. I checked if my first GPU (Intel) could support Directx12 Ultimate but it said no. However, I just want to make sure my NVIDIA can't support Directx12 Ultimate either. When I google it says it can but when I check the dxdiag the feature levels only go up to 11_0. Whereas, ironically, my Intel's feature level goes up to 12_1.
I just would like to know if my NVIDIA could support directx12 ultimate and, if it can, if there's a way to upgrade it to that level? I'm not sure about the technical terms I really just would like to see if I can run Marvel rivals or if I would have to get a new laptop in the future that can T^T.
If you need any screenshots or more information, please let me know!
Thank you!
