I have been trying to update Windows 10 Pro, and I keep getting this error.

I don't know much about computers, as they are not my specialty.

I have already run the troubleshooter as instructed below, and it came up empty.

Settings => Update & Security => Troubleshoot => Windows Update => Run Troubleshooter.

Please help.

Thanks for the screenshots. Windows 10 v2004 reached the end of servicing on December 14, 2021. That means it no longer receives security updates. Please upgrade to 22H2 using the Media Creation Tool.

  1. Download Windows 10 Media Creation Tool (MCT) from this link:

  1. Run MCT and accept the license agreement.
  2. Click "Upgrade this PC now". This starts the repair installation.

Your apps, settings, and files will be kept by default during a repair install/in-place upgrade.

    Hi Ana,

    1. Please run "winver.exe" and post a screenshot. This dialog shows the OS version and the build number.
    2. Launch msinfo32.exe, and click System Summary. Resize the columns in the right pane to make the entries visible, and post a screenshot of that screen.
