Hi! I'm John.

Thank you for reaching out to the Community. I'm here to help you with this.

If you haven't already, please try to Update or reinstall the Wi-Fi driver:

> Open Device Manager (Press Win + X, then select Device Manager)

> Expand Network adapters, right-click your Wi-Fi adapter, and choose Update driver

> If that doesn’t work, try uninstalling the driver, then restart your laptop to let Windows reinstall it.

If issue persists, you check if it listed in Wi-Fi settings and forget it to reconnect:

> Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi > Manage known networks

> Select your Wi-Fi (if it appears) and click Forget, then try reconnecting manually.

If it's hidden, you'll need to connect manually:

> Go to Wi-Fi settings > Hidden network > Connect and enter your Wi-Fi name and password.

Try a different Wi-Fi band

> If your router supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz, check if your laptop is only detecting one of them.

> You can log into your router settings and see if both bands are enabled.

Check router settings

If possible, log into your router’s admin page and see if your Wi-Fi is set to use a specific channel. Try changing it to Auto or a different channel.

Let me know how it goes or if issue still persists.

Any additional information you can provide will be helpful in diagnosing and resolving the issue.

Regards,

John J.D.
