I'm trying to sign in with Microsoft on the Microsoft store, xbox app, etc. Theres 2 accounts that pop up, and they're both mine, and they use the same email. If i try to log in with any one of them, it says "You'll need internet for this". Sometimes it will tell me "Something went wrong, try again later" or something along those lines. Its been happening ever since i lost my original account.

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Community and I'll be glad to assist you today.

It seems that the problem is with your Microsoft account rather than the Microsoft apps.

  1. Are you able to sign in with your Microsoft account online? Open incognito mode and try signing in with your account and see if it is not blocked.

https://account.microsoft.com/

If you can sign in with your account normally on the websites but not on the Microsoft apps,

  1. Try clearing the Microsoft store cache files.

a. Click Windows + R key, type wsreset.exe and click ok.

b. Wait for the Microsoft store to open automatically.

c. Sign in with your account.

If you are still experiencing issues, it is recommended to create a new local user profile and see if you are able to login with your account.

  1. Click Windows + R key, type Netplwiz and click ok.
  2. click Add > Sign in without a Microsoft account (not recommended).
  3. Click local account.
  4. Create a username and password and sign out from the existing user profile.
  5. Sign in to the new user profile >> Open Microsoft store and sign in with your Microsoft account.

I hope this information helps. If you have any questions, please let me know and I will be happy to help you further.

Best regards,

Gunasekar N
