If it is Home edition then it will be Device encryption. Open Settings and search device encryption then turn the toggle Off.
You will need to wait for decryption to complete.

Hi. I'm trying to disable Bitlocker because it keeps prompting me for a recovery key every time I start the computer (for seemingly, no reason). I have tried getting rid of it through command prompts as administrator, but it tells me that my OS doesn't have the ability to disable Bitlocker unless I upgrade the OS.
Is there another way to do it or do I have to look into 'upgrading' my os (whatever that means)? This us a brand new problem and quite confusing since my Windows 11 isn't even three months old yet.

Hello.
How did you do it in command prompt? Did you use this command?
manage-bde -off C:
Can you please share the screenshot of the command prompt after you run it, so I can see the command you entered, and the info it returns?
Yes. That's the command I used, but it didn't work.
