(somehow I'm unable to send Photos)

My Windows Key suddenly refused to work and I tried to fix it.

I managed to get it to this point:

  1. I click on Troubleshoot
  2. It loads
  3. It states: "We found a Windows 11 Pro digital licence for this device running Windows 11 Pro. To activate using this digital licence, select upgrade your edition of Windows."
  4. I click: "Upgrade your edition of Windows"
  5. It states: "

Upgrade your edition of Windows

Upgrading your edition will add new features to Windows. Before you start, make sure that

you save your work and close any apps.

The upgrade might take a while and this device will restart. You won't be able to use this

device until it has completed.

"

  1. I close all closable programs
  2. I click: "Start"

8 It states: "

Unable to upgrade your edition

We can't upgrade your edition of Windows. Try upgrading your edition of Windows again.

(0xc004f01f)

"

no matter what method I tried, I could not get it working again.

Additionally I am a little bit confused it had this key all the time why dose it want to upgrade now?

Please Help

Thanks

Thanks. This is more of a Windows corruption issue with that error. Do a repair install first. This is not a reset, so your apps and files are safe. Once that's done, see if the activation addresses itself, if not, it should at least allow you to run the slmgr /dlv command, then share a screenshot. You can use win+shift +S keys to launch snipping tool, then select the area, and use ctrl + v in a reply to paste.

To perform a repair installation of Windows 11 using the Windows Media Creation Tool:

The following steps should be done on a working Windows computer:

Download the Windows Media Creation Tool from Microsoft's official website. https://www.microsoft.com/software-download/win... click on the "download now" button under "Create Windows 11 Installation Media"

Run the tool and select "Create installation media for another PC."

Choose "USB flash drive" as the media to use for the installation and select "Next."

Connect a USB flash drive with at least 8 GB of free space to your computer.

Select the USB flash drive you want to use, and then select "Next."

The tool will then download the required files and create the installation media.

=====================================================

Now these steps will  be done on your problematic computer:

Go to the USB drive via File Explorer, locate and run the Setup.exe file. Ideally, you should disconnect all USB and Bluetooth devices other than mouse and keyboard. Disable any 3rd party antivirus program. Disconnect the internet.

Once you run the Setup.exe file, choose the Install option, and the choose the option that keeps your files and apps.

Did just that and it replied:

    "

    Code:

    0xC004F012

    Description:

The Software Licence Service reported that the call has failed

because the value of the input key was not found.

    "

That's ward because I tried the key of an other device (made sure it was not bound to the order device in that moment) and it did not take it either dos something hide it or wat should that mean?
