Taskbar is blank

I switched my display from multiple to single display and not everything on my taskbar are missing and its not responding.

I'm Christine, I'll be happy to assist you. Looks like you're experiencing issues on your Taskbar and the icons are missing. No worries, I'll do my best to help you.

May I know when did the issue start? Is there any changes made before you got this issue?

Kindly send the version or build of your Windows (Please press Windows key+R and type winver and hit enter)

Please follow the steps below:

  1. Please click Start menu and type CMD, right click on it and choose Run as Admin, please paste the command below and hit enter.

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

Please wait for it to finish and repair the system files.

Once done, please paste the command below and hit enter.

sfc /scannow

Please wait to finish.

Check if the issue persists.

  1. Right click on start menu and choose Task Manager

Click Details Tab and end the task of explorer.exe

Hit File then click Run new Task and type explorer.exe and press enter
