Hey there!

Nice to meet you! I'm Darhyl, an Independent Advisor.

Based on your description, kindly perform these steps according to Independent Advisor Srinivasa Patsamatla: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/for...

"The infinite sign-in loop may be caused by corrupted credentials or cached authentication tokens.

Here are the steps you can try to help you resolve this issue:

  1. Clear Credentials from Credential Manager

Press "Win + R" to open the Run dialog.

Type

control.exe /name Microsoft.CredentialManager

and press Enter.

Under Windows Credentials, look for any entries related to your Microsoft account Under Generic credentials and remove them.

Restart your PC and try signing in again.

  1. Clear Cache and Reset Microsoft Apps

Open Settings > Apps > Apps & Features.

Find the app that's causing the loop (like Microsoft To-Do or other Microsoft apps), click on it, and choose Advanced Options.

Scroll down and click Reset. This will reset the app without affecting your data.

Try signing in again.

  1. Sign Out from All Devices

Go to the Microsoft Account website (https://account.microsoft.com/) and log in with your credentials.

Go to Security > Sign-in activity and select Sign out from all devices.

Then, sign back into your PC and the Microsoft apps to see if the issue persists.

  1. Reinstall Problematic Apps

If resetting the apps doesn't work, try uninstalling and reinstalling the apps.

Go to Settings > Apps and uninstall the problematic apps.

Reinstall them from the Microsoft Store. "

If the issue persists, please follow the workarounds through these links:

Thank you for your kindness and understanding! Please let me know if you need anything else.

Best regards,
