Incorrect Sum Calculation in Excel Spreadsheet

In a budget spreadsheet created with Microsoft 365 and OneDrive, one of the columns intended for summing values in the budget category is yielding an incorrect total. The spreadsheet has a row for each day of the month and calculates the sum of all values in these columns.

Despite clearing contents and re-adding values, the sum for this specific column remains incorrect, while the sum functions for other categories work properly.

Any insights on diagnosing this issue?

Select the column.

Set the Horizontal Alignment to General.

Do some values display as left-aligned? If so, Excel sees them as text values instead of as numbers, and it will ignore them in a SUM or SUMIF(S) formula.
