how do i move my libraries (like pictures and music) from C:/ to my mass storage drive D:/

I've formatted my d:/ drive to delete the OS that had been on there before I got my new drive (went from an HDD boot drive to a NVMe) and to clear everything since it was full of copies of applications that I reinstalled on my c:/ drive, there was a library on that drive since it had an OS on it. now my new drive is getting full and I only want applications on it, how do i get a library on it that's not just a regular file(could even make a new library for it).

That's the problem, since the Library is set to D:, the whole D: is the Library. You can restore default location without moving the files to fix this:

On the Location tab, select "Restore Default" > "Apply", when prompted to move the files, select "No".
Create a folder on D: to allocate the Library, on the Location tab, select "Move..." and select the folder you just created on D: > Apply, now, manually move the files to the folder.

If this process doesn't work, let me know so we can try another solution.

    On the File Explorer, right-click the Library you want to move > Properties > Location tab > Move... > select the folder you want to move the Library. DO not select D:, otherwise the whole drive will become the Library, create a folder to allocate the Library if needed.

    Repeat the process with the other Libraries you want to move.

    Right-click on the folder you want to move, like "Pictures" or "Music," then click Properties. Go to the Location tab, click Move, and choose a folder on your D: drive. Click Apply and it’ll move everything there and update the system to use that new spot. Do this for each library folder you want on D:.
