.PST File Moved (inadvertently), Now Outlook Burps When Opening - How to fix?

To free up Widows memory, I moved a bunch of folders to an external drive. I didn't know at the time I was relocating Outlook's .pst file. Now, when opening Outlook, I get an error saying the .pst file cannot be located. After clicking through a couple of notifications along those lines, Outlook does open.

I located the misplaced .pst file and brought it back to its place in the correct Windows folder.

But I still get the same opening cautions and notifications. How do I return things to normal?

Verify that the path and file name is indeed exactly the same as where you've placed the pst-file now.

What are the exact notifications/errors that you get?

Is this pst-file linked to a POP3 account or is it just an extra pst-file you created to archive items to from your main mailbox?

As you can still successfully start Outlook, you can disconnect the pst-file via;
File-> Account Settings-> Account Settings...-> tab Data Files

After that, restart Outlook and verify that the notifications/error are gone.
You can then connect the pst-file again via that same dialog.

    Thanks. I had moved the .pst file to the wrong location. Just another instance of my confusion over C: locations and OneDrive locations.
