How can I go about recovering an old email account that I haven't had access to in over ten years?

I made a hotmail account when I was in high school and haven't accessed it in many years. I forgot the password, but didn't worry about it too much because I had another I used more often. Fastforward to today, I found a box filled with older computer games, some of them expansion packs/dlc. The problem is that the games product codes seem to be registered with another account that used another email. I tried speaking with EA support, but there's nothing they can do unless I can access my old Origin (EA) account. I tried going through a recovery request, but I didn't have enough information. I can't remember old passwords, or who I last contacted using that email. Is there anything I can do, or will I just have to accept the situation and move on?

Hello,

If you haven't used your account at all during the last two years, your account is unfortunately closed permanently by now according to Microsoft's account activity policy.

Ah, well that's unfortunate. Thank you though!
