Hi all,

We've been using UPD's on our servers for some time without any issues apart from Outlook search so we have moved to FSLOGIX containers but have noticed that the old UPD's are still being mounted and this seems to be slowing everything down but looking at 4 or 5 guides i can't see anywhere that says we need to disable the old user profiles on the broker ? Can anyone confirm that this is needed ?

Thanks

When I converted my Sessions Collections from UPD to FSLogix. I ran a script that effectively copied the UPD vhd's to new FSLogix vhd's. This was too keep user settings etc. But in the end UPD is disabled and we we only use FSLogix. If you are using full FSLogix Profile, you don't need the old UPD and you don't need it enabled.

But to answer your question, do you need to disable UPD apparently not, but you probably should.
