Document Set + Field Customizer (SPFx) - SharePoint Subscription Edition - Issue

Hello,
We have an issue with "SPFx Field Customizer" and Document Sets on SharePoint Server Subscription Edition.

How to reproduce it:

1. Create a SPFx Field Customizer. (note it does not work with any of our Field Customizers) If needed I can post one or two code examples.
2. Deploy SPFx Field Customizer in App Store
3. Activate Documents Sets Feature (if not active yet)
4. Add Document Library and add Document Set Content Type
5. Add Field Customizer Column or attach on existing column with powershell (both does not work)
6. Create Document Set in new library
7. Open created Document Set (never opens)

Here the screenshots:
Before opening the Document Set: (Note the field customizer column is the last "Kat.")

And after opening the Document Set (loading never goes away, app launcher, search and even the left navigation are NOT working):

Can anyone help? We installed today the new September CU, but the error still exists. Before we had the July CU where it also did not work, before that I am not certain if it worked.
The issue exists for other users and in incognito mode / different browsers.

According to my research and testing, unfortunately, I cannot reproduce your issue . As a workaround, I recommend you can follow the steps in the following document to create Field Customizer extension. Hope it can help you. Thanks for your understanding.

Thanks for your reply, I now created a completely fresh Field Customizer on a new Site Collection (like in your reference).

When I just test it with "gulp serve" everything works:

After deploying the solution and adding the "Percent" field to another document library, it does NOT work:

Can you please confirm?

In my test, I can successfully build the first Field Customizer extension ,and here is my test result:

Please try to do a troubleshooting, check if anything is missing. Have you enhance the field customizer rendering?

In addition, before deploying the solution, whether the browser window can render as shown in the following figure:

Thank you for the efforts, but you did not show me if it works with document sets. You need to use a document library, add a document set and open the document set with a field customizer in the view. "Normal" field customizers on custom lists also work for me just fine! Did you also try it with a document sets?

Until now, I did not even use the "enhanced" field customizer. I did everything like you sent me here: till the "Enhance the Field Customizer rendering".

But to prove my issue, I also now completed the whole example solution.
Again with "gulp serve" everything is working:

And the main, also opening the document set is working:

Then I change the version in package-solution and build it:

cls call gulp clean call gulp build --ship call gulp bundle --ship call gulp package-solution --ship call explorer .\sharepoint\solution\

Last I deploy it on SharePoint App Catalog, Check it in and update the solution in SharePoint.
The view of the document set works (as usual, this was never the problem):

But as soon as I click / open the document set, it is not displaying any files:

Last, sorry, I exceeded the 1600 characters.

I found in the browser dev tools an error / warning, which does not pop up in "gulp serve" debug mode:

sp-client module loader promise does not exist

splist.js?rev=tu%2B1muL1CwrXZdDvanJKjg%3D%3DTAG0:7

Is this fixed On-Premise / Subscription Edition as well?

Hi. Did you get a conclusion for that problem? I got another problem using spfx + onprem in document sets. It seems the document set page docsethomepage.aspx is not ready to use spfx solutions... My workaround was to change the default form view inside the document set forms, using SharePoint Designer...
