Do you use a local admin account or a domain account?
I dont think it can be done with that AAD group as that cpl will require UAC elevation, but others may advise better.

Hi!
Is it possible to change the IP address on a NIC in Windows by entering only one set of credentials?
The Network Configuration Operator security group works okay in that it allows standard users to access the network config area and change their IP address. However, these users have to enter their credentials multiple times, each and every time.
Is there a way, for example, to run ncpa.cpl as admin, then not be prompted again for changing the IP address of a NIC? A field engineer can change the IP address settings of multiple NIC's while at customer sites and they are prompted to enter credentials each and every time. We do not want to turn off UAC.
Thanks for reading.
