Need to install IIS 6.0 on my local windows 10 pc?

Hi Guys,

Can you please tell me where I can get the set up for IIS 6.0 to install on my windows 10 pc?

Is it possible to install another IIS if there is already IIS 10.0 is installed on my local windows 10 pc?

System Configuration : Windows 10 Enterprise
System Type : 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

    You cannot install another version of IIS on your machine. IIS is tied to the OS version and has been for a while.

    Note that the version of IIS shouldn't really matter in most cases. Furthermore IIS 6 is out of support because the OSes it ran on (Server 2003, XP) are no longer in support either. Therefore you shouldn't need to support this old version.

    If you really, really need IIS 6 then set up a virtual machine running one of the unsupported OSes. That would be the only workaround.

    IIS 6 cannot be installed in windows 10, only IIS 10 can be installed.

    As far as I know, IIS 6 is only supported on Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 (or earlier).

    What do you want to install IIS 6 for? maybe you can find an alternative in IIS 10.

    No, only one IIS can be installed on a pc.
