The diagnostic log for the Azure App Service on the Azure portal is different than what it is in the documentation. Is the Microsoft documentation not up-to-date or am I missing anything here?
Check the document link here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/app-service/troubleshoot-diagnostic-logs
The diagnostic logs list I got on the portal are: 244277-image.png

Hi @Cloudy , are you saying that you're getting more logs than are listed in the documentation, or you're expecting something that's missing? I would take a look at your Diagnostic Settings. There may be settings there you need to add or remove. Please let me know what you find and I can help you further.

    Thank you,
    James

    Hello @Cloudy

I agree that the naming has changed ever so slightly between the supported log types listed here and the diagnostics settings UI. However, you are most likely missing some within the UI, because some logs are only available for Premium tier App Services (such as the Anti-Virus Scan Audit Logs) or if using an App Service Environment (AppServiceEnvironmentPlatformLogs).

I've raised an issue here regarding the differences between the names in the UI and the documentation.

Please also note that AllMetrics is a standard log type for most resources, hence why it isn't listed.

    kind regards

    Alistair
