NetXDuo IPv6 RFC 8200 compliance

I'm new to IPv6. In RFCs Supported by NetX Duo you claim compliance to rfc2460. According Wikipedia IPv6 the RFC 8200 is the current standard. I wonder your plans to upgrade NetXDuo.

You also claim compliance to the following RFCs:

I'm a bit confused. What does this different states mean regarding standardization and interoperability? We are developing software for devices that need to operate for 10-20 years. Therefore, the implementation matters for those times. Not all devices are reachable from the internet and will receive updates.

    You can find how to read RFC here. NetX Duo IPv6 is implemented more than ten years ago and has also passed IPv6 ready certification. The latest RFC for IPv6 was 2460 at that time. As far as I know, RFC keeps updating for improvements, clarifications and etc. There are no breaking changes for IPv6 in RFC 8200. So you don't need to worry about the interoperability.
