Server2012 ASP.NET 4.0.30319.0 Event ID 1310 Exchange 2013

I hope someone can help me with this. Out of the sudden, a fully patched Server 2012 running Exchange 2013 started generating Event Id 1310 errors.

Initially, I could not even open owa or ecp until I did some research which instructed to re-create the Microsoft Exchange Server Auth Certificate (which didn't even expire). After recreating the certificate, it got owa and ecp working but I still continue to receive the even id errors above.

    The error message shows that the path is pointed to C Drive, check where did the exchange server you install on?

    If the exchange installation path is different from the path, you could follow below steps to point the the patch in the IIS virtual directory to the right drive (exchange installation path):

    Then you could run iisreset in CMD as administrator to take the change effect, verify Event ID 1310 warnings do not appear.

    [Solution]
    Under path of the Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync directory "C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V15\FrontEnd\HttpProxy\sync" and found a file called "web.config.bak"
    I renamed the web.config to web.config.old and renamed to web.config.bak (removed .bak extention). Then, ran iisreset in cmd as administrator. After that, the error disappear.
