Veeam cant send notification mail to outside of organization

Hello all,

i have a issue about that, waiting for your helps, i am trying to send an email to outside of organization, organization has offiice365 licenced account.In the veeam server;

let me show you explain with an example;

outsideorganization:abc.com

thisdomain:xyz.com

this smtp server requires authentication log on as notification@jaswant .com

from notification@jaswant .com

To sum up;

when i tried ; outlook.com or thisdomain' mail address can send mail to outside,

but its not working when i tried my own domain

SMTP auth enabled!.

    Hi @worldandword ,

    Normally the bellow should be the best option and what you need.
    It is normal that the first one option fail if there is no identity federation in place between both organizations what I guess is actually not the case.
    It is possible that this federation is by default present with outlook.com since it is still Microsoft but private ( haven’t tested it personally but would make sense).

    from notifiy@xyz .com

    You could use shared mailbox to avoid waste of licenses.
