Linux Teams login is branded with previous employer logo and fails because I am not in tenant of their customer

I am trying to log in to the Linux Desktop version of Teams for a pending job interview. Even though I am using my personal email address it is showing the logo from a previous employer and when sign in fails it then shows the logo of a customer of that previous employer. I did once join a Teams call with that customer a few years back so I assume it is caching both my previous employer and their customer. The error shown, with identifying details changed, is:

Sorry, but we’re having trouble signing you in.
AADSTS90072: User account 'My personal email address' from identity provider 'live.com' does not exist in tenant 'Customer' and cannot access the application 'Big hex number'(Microsoft Teams Web Client) in that tenant. The account needs to be added as an external user in the tenant first. Sign out and sign in again with a different Azure Active Directory user account

Not sure what to do to fix this. I do not personally us any Microsoft services and do not have an Azure Active Directory user account to log out of.
