Hello,
we have a problem with calendar entries in a user mailbox of a colleague. It is directly in this calendar, not a Shared Mailbox. He has a meeting in his calendar for which the participants have already agreed. Now he tries to copy the meeting to a week later, simply with CTRL C and CTRL V in the calendar a week later. However, the meeting is not created in the calendar one week later, but as a duplicate at the same time as the original.
The behavior is only like this since we migrated everything to M365 online. With Exchange On Prem it still worked as normal.
In addition, if now the duplicate is removed, the actual meeting is canceled with. This is totally confusing for the users.
What could be the reason for this?

I tried the method you mentioned above in my environment and cannot reproduce your problem.
What about trying the below method and verify the result again? I also tried this, and it can work properly:
An alternative method to duplicate your meeting is to open your Calendar view and then press the Ctrl button, then while Ctrl is still pressed, drag your meeting to the preferred time slot.

the behavior is a bit strange. With pressed CTRL key it does not work either.
Strangely enough, it is not like this with all meetings. There are also a few where it works normally to copy.

thats quiet a hand full of users. We have already created a Test-User which we can reproduce it.
In the meantime it looks like that only old meetings with a date before our migratian are affected.

Are newly created meetings can be copied successfully, only meetings created before migration have this issue?
That's maybe the migration caused some information changed.
