Autopilot hybrid domain join failure

Hi,

We have a new domain on our network.

I am stuck deploying autopilot on the hybrid domain. It gets stuck on the network step saying "Please wait while we set up your device"
I have :

  • Confirmed licenses
  • Turned off Block device use until all apps and profiles are installed option
  • Turned off AD connectivity check
  • Given delegate permissions to OU
  • Confirmed AAD connect has hybrid domain join configured.

Any other ideas or logs i can check to see where the failure is.
My reading has pointed me in the direction that it is failing at the offline domain join blob but I am uncertain of where to troubleshoot further. I understand the device should reboot when it joins domain and then move onto esp. but its just stuck on please wait.
Our other hybrid domain joins on the network seem to work ok.

    Have you got the domain join profile assigned to the group that the device is a member of with the correct info?

    You should get more info from the server that the Intune Connector for AD is installed on in the event logs in Applications and Services Logs > Microsoft > Intune > ODJConnectorService

    Hi,
    Yes the group is assigned to the domain join profile correctly.
    I have also created a test user account for that domain which I use to log into the autopilot deployment and applied an E3 license to it.
    The device appears within autopilot devices after the hashtag upload but intune assiciation is not valid.
