Hi, we're working on submitting a UWP game app for Windows on Microsoft Store. And we wonder what is the best way to handle this if the game will only have a Windows version now but will possibly have an Xbox version in the future. Our questions are:

1) If the Xbox version is going be to added in the future, should we submit it as a separate app or just add the Xbox version under the same app later?
2) If we decide to use the same app for both Windows and Xbox versions, would it be possible to set different prices for each platform?

    Hello,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A!

If the Xbox version is going be to added in the future, should we submit it as a separate app or just add the Xbox version under the same app later?

Currently, partner center does not support having two different packages in one app for different platforms. You will need to submit it as a separate app. A common way is to give the Xbox a similar name and make this app only available in Xbox.

If we decide to use the same app for both Windows and Xbox versions, would it be possible to set different prices for each platform?

No, you can't set different prices for one app in different platforms. You could set different prices for different markets but it is not supported to have two prices for desktop and Xbox.

    Thank you.
