[Error executing Copy Data] Azure SQL to D365 CE - The 'Create' method does not support entities of type 'activityparty'.

We are migrating Emails from Azure SQL database to Email entity in D365 CE. While creating the Activity party record for the emails, we are getting the below error.

Does anybody knows how to resolve this?

Hello @PB_ ,

Welcome to the MS Q&A platform.

As per this document, Actvityparty only supports RetrieveMultiple method. Create method is not supported in Activityparty.
This means the URL is failing to fetch the data source which is not supported.

Hi Bhargava,

Thanks for responding on above question. We are migrating data from Azure SQL to Dynamics 365 CE, we are not fetching any records explicitly for activityparty from D365 CE. Are you implying that internally the CopyData function is fetching data due to Upsert method?
Is there any workaround for this situation? as we cannot migrate the To, CC & From fields on the email record.

As per the documentation, Create method is not supported in Activityparty.
Per the error message, you are using the create method, resulting in the error. Unfortunately, I don't have a Dynamic 365 CE data source to re-produce the issue from our end.

I see the below blog explaining the migration process. The document describes the sink limitations with D365 CE for ADF.
