Hi ,

I have SSO enabled and first time a machine is imaged and a user login and open Outlook , users manage to get Outlook open without entering the password

However , we see a pop message saying " Sign in to setup office" and it provide two options " Sign in or create account"

I followed this MS article to make sure GPOs are all set but still no luck , any idea how to disable or stop this pop up ?

    @Immer ,

    Did you set sharedcomputer activation for Microsoft 365?
    Please close the "Sign in to setup office" windows, go to File >Account > Product Information, check whether Microsoft 365 apps were activated.

    On the view of Office, you may try to delete the registry below to check this issue.
    Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Common\Identity\Identities.
    (Please note, serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Before you modify it, back up the registry for restoration in case problems occur.
    Please refer to this article about how to back up and restore the registry in Windows.)

    To better help you, I woud add the tag "azure-ad-signle-sign-on", as the SSO is out of my support scope. Thanks for your understanding.

    SSO on itself is not sufficient for Outlook to be able to create the user's profile, to fully automate the process you will have to also configure ZCE as detailed here: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/outlook-global-customer-service/zeroconfigexchange-automating-the-creation-of-an-outlook-profile/ba-p/389691

    Thanks but Outlook opens fine and load the profile without a password.

    The dialog I'm talking about is here, and it is for office activation

    Thanks @Emily Hua-MSFT , I didn't set shared computer activation.

    My understanding is shared computer activation is only for VDI or Citrix environment, since I'm dealing with physical hardware and every user only access his device so why I should use shared computer activation ?

    Thanks
