Azure Cosmos DB connection fails

We just created a cosmosdb with mongodb api and we tried to use the connecting string in the "connection string" page to connect this database from external server but failed and we also use "studo 3t" to try and it failed again, "studo 3t" has following message:
Connection failed.
SERVER [strace.mongo.cosmos.azure.com:10255] (Type: UNKNOWN) CONNECTING
Details:
Timed out after 5000 ms while waiting for a server that matches com.mongodb.client.internal.MongoClientDelegate$1@42360625. Client view of cluster state is {type=REPLICA_SET, servers=[{address=strace.mongo.cosmos.azure.com:10255, type=UNKNOWN, state=CONNECTING}]
I need the advice to solve the issue.
