Two-finger scrolling on touchpad not working

My touchpad has been working just fine before this, but recently I've been having this issue where my touchpad, while it responds to normal usage such as moving the mouse cursor, but two-finger cannot be used. Two-finger scrolling has been a norm for me and has been working fine just until now. I didn't really take it as an issue at first, but it has brought many problems. I'm pretty sure that my touchpad is not spoilt in any way, as my computer has not been used for more than a year and after a period in which I could not use my touchpad, I updated my computer, and it could work. Furthermore, it works just fine, other than the problem with two-finger scrolling.

After I did a filter today with Procmon (Process Monitor) and restarted my computer (it worked just fine before I restarted, I'm sure of it), two-finger scrolling stopped working (again). Any ideas on how to fix this problem? My computer is facing quite a number of problems recently, I'm trying out Driver Easy as of to update any drivers in which I have not installed, in hope to solve the problems I'm facing on my computer now. Do look into my other questions, here is one of the links:

On top of that, when I tried opening Synaptics Touchpad to try to fix the problem, an error came up. A picture of the error has been attached below. Do hope to find a solution.

    Hi,
You could try troubleshooting touchpad issues following this offcial artcial:
Fix touchpad problems in Windows 10

Also, try updating the touchpad driver from the PC provider's offcial site:
    https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers

The error massage suggests there is comfilct in touchpad drivers, might need to reinstalled it.
