Remote connection download for iMac

I have an iMac with a software version of 10.10.5 i believe, I keep checking to see if there are any updates available but there isn't as of yet. On the app store I can't download the Microsoft remote connection app as my software isn't up to date enough for it's current version. Is there anyway of downloading an old version? I'm currently working from home and trying to work from two screens instead of my small laptop one!

    Please check below beta version list of microsoft remote desktop for mac and choose one applicable version for your iMac.
    But please be informed that the oldest version available now is Version 10.3.2 (1650), which was released on Sep 05, 2019.
