MS-RTSP for UWP IoT Core

Hi, I intend to implement audio and video steaming on UWP IoT core from IoT core device to another. I was recommended to explore RTSP.
After going through the rtsp documents, I noticed there are quite a lot of work to do.
Before I go into it, I would like to check if there are readily available library around for both server and client RTSP. Thanks.

You can try to use VASTreaming library which supports RTMP client/server for UWP, but it is not free. Following libraries are free:

LibVLCSharp

SharpRTSP

Hi @Michael Xu .. thanks I am trying out sharpRTSP ... I cloned it from github but it doesn't seem to be able to add project as reference. Able to help? Thanks.

Hi @MY Lim , the library SharpRTSP is built with .net framework 4. You can add the library to your UWP project directly, you need to change the target for UWP.

hi @Michael Xu In the sharp RTSP there is no option to change target to UWP. Any idea?

I tried running the RTSP project directly with the example.cs to understand how to call the client but i ran into issue as

An object reference is required for the non-static field, method or property 'media.mediatype

Please advise.

Is the method GetMediaType customized?The class Media does not implement the function.Please provide the code snippet.
