Why does Azure Storage Explorer not pre-select "page blob"

This is somehow related to
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/214674/why-does-azure-storage-explorer-removes-the-vhd-ex.html
looks like there's a check box "upload .vhd as page blob", but , possibly because the extension is removed, this does not happen.
The problem is that a .vhd needs to be uploaded as page blob, otherwise you cannot use it to create a Drive.

If you don't pay attention to this... you find it out only later, when trying to create the Drive, so you need to upload again with the proper setting, then clone it to add the .vhd extension, and then try again the Drive. that's 3h later (depending on the wi-fi connection)

    @Mihai
    I tested and confirmed that this is selected by default when choosing upload file. It appears your issue was related to the file not uploading as VHD. I am reviewing your other thread and will send out a response there shortly.
