PsExec 2.3 was initially released on Jan 11 with at least the three following bugs. One of them was fixed on January 12. The other two remain open and unfixed as of yet. These issues did not occur in version 2.2:

  1. FIXED on Jan 12: Error communicating with PsExec service on XXX: No process is on the other end of the pipe." Remote service exists but doesn't stop or delete itself.
  2. Not fixed yet: Cant execute multiple processes at same time. If one process is already running, a second will produce error 32 sharing violation.
  3. Not fixed yet: -h switch doesn't work with alternate credentials. Only -s works with alternate credentials. Removing both -s and -h altogether also does not work. Will produce error 1385 logon type not granted

These problems shouldn't happen anymore with the current (v2.32) or at least with the upcoming PsExec releases. Please report if you're still facing them.
