Hi,
I am glad that reinstalling the Microsoft office has worked out for. Though, this is usually a file corruption issue which is often seen in MS Access. I would recommend using the ‘Compact and Repair’ to Repair Access Database Manually:"
Steps:
1: In your MS Access database, click on ‘File’.
2: Click the ‘Compact & Repair’ option on the ‘Info’ page.
Access will create a copy of the compacted and repaired database at the same location as that of the original database.
Otherwise, If Compact and Repair does not work for you, use a professional Access database repair tool to fix database corruption. You can check out this thread: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/all/database-cannot-be-opened-because-vba/7fe4767d-46fa-4eec-98f1-ab91e9271133
