What's the recommended way to automatically restart terminal server clusters with user profile disks on fileservers aswell as said fileservers?

With our current patch-management efforts we run into a problem in which we have no best practice on hand to handle the reboot of one or more remote desktop hosts and connected fileservers hosting their user profile disks.

As we do not want to reinvent the wheel i'd like to know what the recommended way to handle this is.
Goal is to schedule an automatic weekly reboot of all servers to properly install windows updates and the like with no administrator intervention required.

Currently blindly patching and rebooting everything at once leads to issues on mounting the disks (NTFS warnings) and/or lockup because open sessions are using non-mounted UPDs

    Hi,
Per searching, there is not documented recommendation on arrangement for reboot after updates on remote servers.

Someone suggested to modify the GPO and others are talking about the task scheduler to force the reboot occurrence in specified period.
